At the special meeting, the Board interviewed the two search firms most active in this area to assist the Board in identifying candidates to fill the position of Superintendent, following the announcement on December 12, 2018 that Dr. Laurie Heinz will resign at the end of the 2018-19 school year on June 30, 2019 to become Superintendent of Community Consolidated School District 15 in Palatine.
The Board selected School Exec Connect to provide search services. At the January 14, 2019 meeting, School Exec Connect will work with the Board to establish an overall timeline for the search and review an extensive community engagement plan to develop a New Superintendent Profile.
