Demystifying School Finance Program - 2017

District 64 joined with the League of Women Voters of Park Ridge and the NW Suburban branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to host an informational session on September 28, 2017 at Lincoln Middle School for all community members on "Demystifying School Finance: State and Local." 

The evening included presentations by Roosevelt University professor of Educational Leadership Dr. Tom Kersten, author of "Taking the Mystery Out of Illinois School Finance;" District 64 Chief School Business Official Luann Kolstad; and Mary Kalou, Maine Township High School District 207 Assistant Superintendent of Business. A Question & Answer session followed.
