The Emerson Symphonic Band performed as part of the Northshore Concert Band Festival at Northwestern University in Evanston on Fri., March 23. The band performed 2 songs in Pick Staiger Concert Hall and then received a 45 minute clinic from Dan Farris, assistant director of bands at NU.
The students not only gave an excellent performance, but were well behaved and represented District 64 (along with Brian Jacobi and the Lincoln Symphonic Band) extremely well.
