Big Week at Lincoln!

Big Week at Lincoln!

Please join us on Tuesday, October 27 to hear the account of Holocaust survivor Mr. Metz, who is the grandfather of a Lincoln student.  He will give two talks that morning in the LRC, from 8:15 to 9:45 and from 10:00 to 11:30.  All Lincoln parents are welcome.

Next week is also Red Ribbon Week This year’s theme is "Respect Yourself. Be Drug Free." This fits nicely with our ROARS theme of the month Respect Yourself and Others. It is greatly appreciated if parents can discuss with their child what respecting yourself looks like (physically and mentally) when one lives drug and alcohol free. Please also encourage them to participate in the daily spirit themes and activities:

  • Monday- Start of Red Ribbon Week (Wear Red) - Mayor Maloney will be tying Red Ribbons outside the building in the morning.
  • Tuesday- Dream Big- Don’t Let Drugs Get In Your Way - (Wear you PJ’s)
  • Wednesday- Turn Your Back on Drugs- (Wear your shirt backwards)
  • Thursday- Light Up Your Future- Don’t Do Drugs (Wear Neon) - Members of the Park Ridge Police will be handing out items to students in the morning
  • Friday- Black Out Drugs- (Wear black)
