Instrumental Music Department Honored at Orchestra Benefit
The Park Ridge Civic Orchestra at its 6th annual gala, “Sweeter than Springtime,” on Saturday, March 3 honored the members of the District 64 instrumental music department for “their continued inspiration and dedication to the children of this community.” Congratulations to Eric Bachmann, Angela Ceriale, Linnea Erickson, Brian Jacobi, Natalie Jacobsen, Dallas Klytta, Mary Skomasa, and Patty Wlodek.
Lincoln Middle School awarded national "Blue Ribbon"
Lincoln is one of only two middle schools in the state – out of 15 schools total – to be named a 2006 No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon Schools winner by the U.S. Department of Education. Principal Jim Blouch (left) accepted congratulations from Todd Zoellick, the Deputy Secretary's Regional Representative, at an assembly of 770 Lincoln School students and staff members on September 26.
