What information does the report card provide?
According to Illinois School Code, each public school and district within the state of Illinois must publish an annual State Report Card that provides information relating to student demographics, average class size, amount of time devoted to specific areas of instruction, teacher qualifications, performance on the annual Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) and school district finances. The local school or district information is compared to state averages.
NEW: A comprehensive overview of District 64 student achievement in 2010-11 (including a detailed analysis of Illinois Standards Achievement Tests included in the Report Cards; Measures of Academic Progress; and the District's Educational Ends) is available in a report presented to the Board of Education at a Committee-of-the-Whole meeting on October 17, 2011:
- Report from Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning Diane Betts
- PowerPoint of the presentation
- Video of the Board meeting
