What information does the report card provide?
According to Illinois School Code, each public school and district within the state of Illinois must publish an annual State Report Card that provides information relating to student demographics, average class size, amount of time devoted to specific areas of instruction, teacher qualifications, performance on the annual Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) and school district finances. The local school or district information is compared to state averages.
A printed copy of the school or District report card will be sent to parents or any interested person on request to the Department of Student Learning, 847-318-4300.
