Thought Exchange Site

In spring 2016, parents, staff and community members were invited to join an online conversation about our schools and District. We asked what our schools/District are doing well, where we can improve, and how you felt about the areas of focus within our new 2020 Vision Strategic Plan.

The results are in:  nearly 1,200 stakeholders shared almost 2,700 thoughts and assigned just shy of 68,000 stars!

Through your participation in this online conversation, we have listened to your voices and learned about the priorities of our community.

District 64 has adopted a growth mindset of moving from “good to great” or even to “extraordinary” in terms of the comprehensive and well-rounded educational experience we strive to provide our students. We are committed to focusing our energies, human and physical resources, and overall improvement efforts on those levers that will best meet the needs of all of our students, and doing so in a fiscally responsible manner.

The results of our first Thoughtexchange online conversation are invaluable as we continually reflect on and refine our focus.

We invite you to stay connected with us and follow our efforts to inspire every child to discover, learn, achieve, and care.

Together We Discover, Learn, Grow & Care

At D64, our mission is to foster opportunities for discovery, engagement, and growth for all students. We accomplish this by nurturing interdependence, appreciation of differences, and care for self and others.
