Mrs. Benjamins students went to Park Ridge Public Libary last night to Skype with author Jason Reynolds. Jason Reynolds is the author of Ghost a popular book here with our students as well as a national book award nominee. Mrs. Benjamin prepared the students for the meeting by starting a read aloud in their classroom and then finishing the book on their own. Students all loved talking with Mr. Reynolds and thought he was super cool. What a great opportunity for our students.
