D64 offers free screenings for birth - age 5 children to check early skills

Wondering if your young child is developing on time? ...Or if the behaviors you see are appropriate?

For families who live in the District 64 community, we invite you to make an appointment to meet with the members of our Early Childhood Diagnostic Team and find out how your child’s early cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor skills are developing.

Screening appointments are scheduled by calling Jefferson School (847-318-5360). Infant and toddler screenings for children ranging from birth through age 2 years/8 months are scheduled twice per year; screenings for pre-school children age 2 years/9 months to 5 years/11 months are offered monthly.
