Wonderful Field Trip to The Grove!

Wonderful Field Trip to The Grove!

Once again the weather was on our side, as the Jefferson students went on their first field trip of the school year!  Even though we experienced rainy days on either side of the field trip, Friday was a beautiful day to go to the pumpkin farm.  The students enjoyed seeing spooky things while on a hayride in the woods.  They played a variety of seasonal games like finding a needle in a haystack, stuffing a scarecrow, bean bag toss, and listening to a story in the tepee!  They also loved seeing great horned owls, fish, snakes, and turtles at the Nature Center.  The culmination of the day was to pick out a pumpkin to take home to their family!
