The Jefferson preschool families enjoyed a summer-like evening at the annual Family Picnic on Wednesday. Families brought their blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners for a great night of family time! The children were excited to show their parents and siblings the playground and to play with new and former classmates. The parents had an opportunity to talk with some of the Jefferson staff, meet new families, and connect with friends and neighbors. The new sun shades over the playground equipment and picnic benches are a great addition to our playground. Fortunately the rain held off until everyone went home, so the shades weren't needed for protection from the rain!
