Camp Duncan Day One

Camp Duncan Day One

The buses left at approximately 9:02 a.m. for camp and our 5th graders were on their way to their 3 day, 2 night adventure.  Our first day was predicted to be our warmest day, so most of the activities that are student favorites were scheduled for the day.  Our students started with team-based activities that taught them the importance of working together.  The afternoon was filled with rock climbing, volcanoes, and archery.  As always, the Katniss Everdeen jokes were a plenty. The night featured a night hike and singing campfire songs.  The students were encouraged to get a good night sleep for another full fun and educational day on Thursday.
