3D Printing Begins at Carpenter with the Help of ELF

You've read in a previous post that the Elementary Learning Foundation (ELF) helped us by providing us with a grant to get our Move and Learn Project underway at Carpenter.  Well, Carpenter was lucky enough this year to secure two grants from ELF, the second being finances to secure a 3D printer.  The idea started with Ms. Pelsor (our previous Instructional Technology Coach) and Mrs. Bianchi, our art teacher.  Mr. Michael is now continuing the work of bringing the idea to life in our implementation year.  I am happy to report that our first 3D product was created today, September 14, 2015.  We are excited to be exploring and learning the capabilities of 3D printers with our teachers and our students. Watch for exciting implementation ideas throughout the year!
