Google Expeditions Comes to Carpenter on Friday, November 13th for 2nd-5th Grade

Google Expeditions is coming to Carpenter School for grades 2-5 on Friday, November 13! The Google Expeditions Pioneer Program is a virtual field trip offered to schools around the world during the 2015/2016 school year. Google will be bringing three Expeditions kits for classes to use as they explore 3D Panoramic locations around the globe (and some in space)! Teachers will guide students through their selected expedition using a tablet device while students use Google Cardboard viewers to look through and get a 360° view of their expedition location. Each Expedition will take about 25 minutes. Google currently offers over 100 different expeditions.

We are absolutely thrilled that Carpenter School was selected to participate in such a great educational opportunity! Make sure to ask your 2nd-5th grader about their virtual field trip after school on Friday, November 13.
