First Trunk-or-Treat Event + Halloween Party Brings the Community to Carpenter

First Trunk-or-Treat Event + Halloween Party Brings the Community to Carpenter

Carpenter students returned to school with their friends and family on Friday Night, October 24th, for the PTO-sponsored Halloween party.  New this year was the first-ever Carpenter trunk-or-treat event.  Carpenter families once again demonstrated their creative side as we had many various decorated trunks including scary, holiday-themed, and even a lemonade stand vehicle.  Inside, students and their families visited the south gym for food and treats. The hallways were filled with eager photo booth participants.  The north gym was filled with music as the DJ and MC entertained and led dancing for two hours.  Our spirit wear was on display so parents and students could pick out new Carpenter attire for spirit Fridays.  Lastly, there was  a raffle throughout the night where we had several lucky winners of such great prizes as restaurant gift cards, a giant paw seat, a skating party, and much more.  Thank you to our Halloween committee members for organizing and decorating and for everyone who came out and participated to make it another Carpenter special evening.
