St. Patrick's Day At Franklin

St. Patrick’s Day

by: Mrs. Lech, assistant principal

Franklin students and staff enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day! The Kindergarteners made traps to catch a tricky leprechaun out on the loose. This green fellow sneaked in and knocked over books, spilled crayons, and even left fake gold! The students loved writing about this adventure! In first grade, Ms. Lally taught students the steps of an official Irish dance! We loved learning about her Irish cultural. Ms. Schuetz’s second graders sported matching green shirts along with a very festive staff. Our irish secretary, Ms. Murphy surprised teachers with corn beef sandwiches for lunch-a treat from her very own dad! As my first year at Franklin, many of you do not know that I too embody Irish pride. My maiden name is O’Neal after all. So to all Franklin students, here is my final note:

The luck of the Irish has brought me to you. You’re a sweet little lad with a golden heart, too. Hope that all of your wishes do, indeed come true!
