Citizenship In Mrs. Kennedy's Classroom

Citizenship In Mrs. Kennedy's Classroom

Mrs. Kennedy's Room 109 collected warm winter items in the month of
December to donate to needy families. They used these
items for our Estimation and Statistics Jar Activity at the
end of the month. At the beginning of the month students
predicted how many items that they would bring in as an
entire class. Then during math class students took their
predictions and calculated the range, median, mode and
mean of all of the predictions. Not only are they
working on their math skills, but they are helping out
needy families and completing a community service project
along the way. This is an outstanding example of Citizenship.

Thanks to  our students and all of the families who donated
to our cause.
