International Night at Roosevelt

International Night at Roosevelt

Roosevelt Elementary School hosted The Beatles, err I mean, Open House on Thursday. The annual event drew an amazing crowd as families started off the evening visiting classrooms and then transitioned into International Night!

A parade of nations through the hallways got the festivities going. In one gym, numerous cultural tables were set up with treats and history from all over the world.

After enjoying some sweet and savory snacks, a dance circle appeared. Inside the circle, talented Roosevelt Tigers showed off their best moves. We saw South Asian, Greek, Serbian, Irish, Latin American, Polish and Ball Room Dances!

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event happen!

Here are some photos from all of the fun.
