Roosevelt families came together last Friday night and celebrated all of the different cultures and heritages represented in the school. It was such a fun night of delicious food from all over the world, dancing, a parade, and tons of other fun activities!
There were seven tables representing the following countries with food and fun facts about each place:
- Brazil
- Canada/Denmark
- Colombia
- Greece
- Ireland
- Poland
- South-Asian region
Plus, we were even treated to world-class entertainment. The event started with a performance from the Roosevelt Choir, and then there were numerous dance performances:
- Greek dance group
- Irish dance group
- Polish dance group
- South-Asian dance group
It was an awesome night of celebrating each of the different countries. Thank you to the Roosevelt PTO and all of the parents for making it happen.
