D64 Schools & Offices Closed January 28, 2019

All District 64 schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 28, 2019 due to the hazardous travel conditions and lack of snow removal throughout the Park Ridge and Niles area. Extended day kindergarten at Jefferson School and the Park District Beyond the Bell child care programs at our elementary schools also are closed. Additionally, all before and after school as well as evening events on January 28 at our schools are canceled.

District 64 has made this decision after consulting with our local Maine Township school districts and with careful monitoring of the Emergency Closing Center weather data. Keeping all students, families and staff members safe remains our priority.

In addition, we will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the week and inform you if schools will be closed again later this week due to extreme cold weather conditions predicted in our area. Stay warm and safe this week.

Further information about our winter school closing guidelines is available on our website.
