The schedule for candidate interviews during the February 13, 2017 Board of Education meeting will be as follows:
6:10 p.m. - Monica Wojnicki
6:20 p.m. - Joan Sandrik
6:30 p.m. - Terry Cameron
6:40 p.m. - Alan Martin
6:50 p.m. - Terry Krahl
7:00 p.m. - Elissa Reiner
7:10 - 7:20 p.m. BREAK
7:20 p.m. - Chandra Kearney
7:30 p.m. - Larry Woodard
Matthew Gilgunn has withdrawn his application. Denise Pearl and Ginger Pennington are unable to be interviewed.

The February 13, 2017 meeting will be held at Jefferson School (multipurpose room), 8200 N. Greendale, Niles, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Update February 7, 2017

The Board of Education at the February 6, 2017 meeting announced that it would interview all candidates who had submitted applications by the deadline. As planned, interviews will be conducted during a public meeting on Monday, February 13, 2017. An interview schedule is being developed and will be posted here. The candidates are: Terry Cameron, Matthew Gilgunn, Chandra Kearney, Terry Krahl, Alan Martin, Denise Pearl, Ginger Pennington, Elissa A. Reiner, Joan Sandrik, Monica Wojnicki, and Larry Woodard.

The February 13, 2017 meeting will be held at Jefferson School (multipurpose room), 8200 N. Greendale, Niles, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 Board of Education is inviting interested community members to apply for a vacant seat created by a recent resignation. The Board will appoint an interim replacement to serve until a new Board is seated following the April 4, 2017 municipal election. The appointment will be made in conformance with state law as found in Board Policy 2:70.

The deadline for interested candidates to submit an application is no later than 12 noon on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Applicants are asked to submit: complete contact information; a letter of interest summarizing why you would like to serve on the Board, the skills you would bring to the Board, and previous relevant community or non-profit experiences; and a resume. Applications must be submitted to: Board President Anthony Borrelli, Park Ridge-Niles School District 64, 164 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, IL 60068.

The Board expects to review applications at the special Board meeting on Monday, February 6, 2017 and also has agreed to conduct interviews for some or all candidates at a special meeting tentatively scheduled for Monday, February 13, 2017. The Board desires to make its appointment at the February 21, 2017 regular meeting.
