The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

-Mrs. Lech

Franklin students enjoyed a cultural arts experience in our school auditorium on Friday, October 31st. Thanks to the PTA, American Eagle Productions performed: “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Many of our students had read this classic tale prior to the play. They were excited to see it performed live. The story is about four children sent out of London during World War II to live in the country. After they stumble through an old wardrobe, they find themselves on a magical journey in the land of Narnia, where animals talk and magic exists. The students were great audience members!

These kinds of opportunities encourage our Franklin students to think imaginatively, engage in the arts, and gain new perspectives. We look forward to more cultural arts experiences in the months ahead!
