Last Saturday, November 8th, Carpenter hosted a book fair at Barnes & Noble! We had a great turnout! This event included story time with Mrs. Lech and Mr. Balduf, a magician, cookie decorating, students' explorer reports, and plenty of book finding!
We raised $5,000 and 20% will go directly to Carpenter! The proceeds will be spent on Science books for the Carpenter Library. With the new Next Generation Science Standards this is particularly important. This way we continue to encourage our young scientists! Thank you to the PTO and our librarian Ms. Loftus for this wonderful event!
