Skates from the Chicago Wolves visits Carpenter's 2nd Grade

Carpenter's second graders who met their reading goal over Thanksgiving Break were rewarded with a visit by Skates, the mascot of the Chicago Wolves.  Mrs. Mata and I read books to the students as Skates provided us with his associated non-verbals.  The students had a great time!  Then Skates had one more surprise for them and offered every student there 2 tickets to a Wolves game over Winter Break.  Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Iralson, Mrs. Mata, the second grade team and all of our readers for the fun Friday event!
