Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad

This past Saturday, over 300 students in District 64 converged at Emerson Middle School for the Science Olympiad.  There were five different events: Egg Drop, Mystery Drop, Rubber Band Catapult, Structures, and Aerodynamics. Carpenter had thirty-three students that participated and were representing in 4 out of 5 of the events.  It was great to see their creativity, their teamwork, and their participation in a learning event that took place on a Saturday morning.  Congratulations to Sam and Alexander in 5th grade for placing 2nd in the Aerodynamics event!
