Barnes and Noble Bookfair this Saturday, November 8th
The Carpenter PTP Barnes and Noble Book Fair will be held on Saturday, November 8. Families can get a jump on their holiday shopping at Barnes and Noble located at 5405 Touhy Avenue in Skokie. We will have lots of fun programming and activities throughout the day. A percentage of what you spend will come back to the Carpenter and benefit the LRC. 
 
Stop by our check-in table to get a sticker and to enter the raffle for a chance to win lunch with Mr. Balduf and Mrs. Loftus!

10:30 a.m. - Magician

2 - 3:30 pm - 5th Grade Explorer Presentations (see below)
All day - scavenger hunt 
 
5th Grade students are invited to come and share their Explorer presentations in costume. Participation is optional. Sign up at http://bit.ly/1r8icCw
 
The Next Generation of Science Standards and Common Core State Standards include high expectations for our students. With the proceeds from the book fair, the LRC plans to purchase award winning science books to support our young scientists at Carpenter.
