A tremendous thank you for participating in our Ethiopian well fundraiser. We shattered our goal and raised almost $23,000. This means that we have enough money for a borehole well, a hand dug well, and a set of latrines for a village. Your contributions have truly saved lives. Ethiopia is experiencing a terrible drought where they have not had rain in two years. Installing wells in two villages will greatly increase the chances of hundreds of people surviving. Thank you! If you didn't get a chance to donate and would still like to, please go to www.crowdrise.com/carpenterwell. We are only about $2,000 from a third well. Thank you again for your generosity! Carpenter is truly the small school with the big heart. We're currently planning a school celebration this week to celebrate our success and help our students recognize how one person, one class, and one school can make a difference in the world.
