Uncle Pete's Lunches April 25, 2017

I am astonished and proud of Emerson's students, staff and parents' response to my challenge of bringing in sack lunches to feed the poor.

Today, we collected 777 sack lunches to support Uncle Pete's lunch program, which distributes the lunches to the poor and needy throughout the Chicagoland area.

The past three years we averaged between 250-300 lunches. To reach today's quantity is truly amazing. I want to thank everyone for the kindness and generosity. Click here to view pictures of the event.
