As the school year comes to an end, the Emerson Community has had the privilege to hear the growth of our Instructional Music Program. Last week on Wednesday and Thursday nights, Emerson's Percussion Ensemble, along with the Beginning, Cadet, and Jazz Symphonic Bands performed in front of packed crowds. Those in attendance enjoyed selections such as: Route 66, to name a few.
On Friday morning, Emerson's entire student body and staff enjoyed a music assembly, which featured our orchestra, band, and chorus programs. Each group played selections of their favorite music. The assembly concluded with Emerson's Orchestra and Symphonic Band playing together, while the chorus sang along. It was very impressive. Click here to view pictures from these events.
