The Emerson Concert Orchestra 1 students had a terrific afternoon at the University of Illinois Junior High School String Orchestra Clinic at Niles West High School yesterday.
Selected as one of 12 middle school orchestras from Illinois, we had an informative and inspiring clinic with Frank Lestina (Music Education Faculty at DePaul University and retired orchestra director from Vernon Hills High School). He gave us some great feedback and advice that we will carry with us as we move forward with our new repertoire this year.
We are so proud of our students' hard work and musical success. We look forward to watching them develop their musical talents even more this year.
