Hour of Code

Student on computer

December 3-9 celebrates Computer Science Education Week!  Here at Emerson Middle School, students are encouraged to complete an Hour of Code.  Some students might complete this as part of a class or work independently.  You can even code as a family!  Here's a link to the D64 Hour of Code page with resources for students, staff, families, and community members.  You can always code, but this is a great week to learn more about coding, and celebrate 21st century careers and mindsets.

Together We Learn, Grow, Connect, & Care

At D64, our vision is that every child is empowered to discover their voice, reach their full potential, and make a positive impact on the world. Student growth, driven by rigorous curriculum and effective instruction, makes District 64 one of the best PreK-8 school districts in the state.
