Halloween at Emerson

Halloween at Emerson

On Friday, October 30, Emerson "Blacked Out Drugs" and celebrated Halloween. Students and staff wore black to recognize the need to avoid drugs.

The PTO challenged students to bring in 1000 box tops within two weeks. Their reward was for me to wear a crazy costume on Friday. Because they brought in 2,940 box tops, some of Emerson's staff joined me in my costume theme: Gru and the Minions from "Despicable Me."

I have also added pictures from the sixth grade Halloween social, sponsored by the PTO. The students changed into costumes at the end of the day and had a wonderful time dancing and playing games.
