Emerson-Lincoln Orchestra Clinic

Emerson-Lincoln Orchestra Clinic

Concert Orchestra 1 students from Emerson and Lincoln participated in a two-hour, intensive workshop on Tuesday, March 22. This workshop was led by Dr. Allan Dennis- founder, director and conductor of Midwest Young Artists Conservatory (www.mya.org).  The clinic featured an in-depth rehearsal of both classical and popular repertoire, including: Danse Infernale by Elliot Del Borgo, Spartacus by Brian Balmages; Quintus by Larrk Clark: and an orchestral version of Fight Song by Rachel Platten.

This was truly a rewarding and educational experience for our young musicians. The Emerson Orchestra will be performing these selections at our May 3 concert in the Emerson gym at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend- free admission!
