Welcome Back Assembly August 21, 2016

On Friday, August 19th, students and staff thoroughly enjoyed our Welcome Back Assembly.

The goal of the assembly was to introduce students to Emerson Staff, build school spirit, and remind students of Emerson's SOARS behavior matrix. SOARS stands for: Shows Respect; Offers Empathy; Acts Safely; Responsible for Learning and Behavior: and Shows Self-Regulation and Self-Awareness.

Thanks to Emerson's PTO, we were also treated to an entertaining performance by the Jesse White Tumblers. Here are some pictures and videos of the event for you to enjoy.
