Today, seven eighth grade students were randomly chosen to throw pies at me during the eighth grade lunch period. Emerson's PTO sponsored the event to raise Boxtops for Education. Each grade level had the opportunity to bring in Boxtops for three months, with the grade level that raised the highest amount having the opportunity to throw the pies. The final totals were sixth grade with 810, seventh grade with 1,200, and eighth grade with 1,903. As you see in the pictures, we have students with very accurate throwing arms. Fun was had by all.
