Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2015

Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2015

For the 2015 Scholastic Arts Awards competition Mrs. Dziedzic nominated 27 of her Emerson students, from January-December 2014, whose artwork she felt was exemplary and encouraged them to enter their work for judging.  "I am proud of all of the students for showing the dedication it takes to create work of such high caliber."

Eight of twenty-seven students nominated followed through with entering their work for judging: went online to Scholastic to register, uploaded jpgs of their work, print the registration, gather the signatures needed for submission and mail the entry form on time!   They had the courage to believe in their work and put in the extra time to submit it for judging, bravo!

Regional winners were announced on January 31st  and four students works received awards!!  Congratulations to our Emerson winners!!
