Today, the sixth grade began their two-day adventure of Olympic games.
Students are placed into a “City State” and participate as a team in different events, which are both physically and mentally challenging. They increase their knowledge of ancient Greece, as well as build social skills of teamwork.
This event ties in closely with the students’ instruction into Greece and ancient civilizations. Please enjoy the pictures of the opening ceremony.
