Principal's Message

Welcome to Emerson Middle School!

I am honored to be serving the students, staff, parents, and community of Emerson as your principal, and I look forward to a productive year of learning, growth, and success. As a former Emerson teacher and associate principal, I can say with confidence that our entire staff strives to work closely with students to encourage and guide them through this period of rapid change in their lives. Our staff seeks to empower students to be positive contributors to our District 64 community and global society.

At Emerson, our goal is to offer our students a rich, personalized educational experience in all ways --  academically, physically, socially and emotionally. We are committed to providing the best learning environment to match each student’s needs. Through our core academics, expansive elective offerings, social/academic supports, extracurricular activities, and exceptional family and community engagement, Emerson offers a positive and caring atmosphere designed to help adolescents thrive.
