Last week Field School participated in the Hour of Code along with millions of other people in over 180 countries.. Students were excited to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills to complete activities related to popular movies/games, such as Moana and Minecraft. This event is part of Computer Science Education Week and helps students to see these types of activities as something fun to do. I hope that some of our students will continue coding in the days and weeks to come and perhaps even be inspired to pursue careers in computer science!
