The Emerson and Lincoln Bands led by Eric Bachmann and Connor Yoon participated in the Jazz Jamboree last week at Thomas Middle School in Arlington Heights. It was a summit of talented musicians and both schools did a fantastic job and received clinics from two jazz professionals in the non-competitive event.
One of the cool parts of this was that both schools could watch each other's performance.
Here's a fun fact: The Jazz Jamboree and Emerson are both 25 years old...and the Eagles have participated in all 25 with Mr. Bachmann leading the way!
