The 2019 Emerson Spelling Bee took place this past Thursday, January 17th in the Emerson LRC. There were 11 participants who showed truly impressive sportsmanship. They supported and encouraged one another all along the way which made their peers, family members, and the EMS staff proud. After 16 spelling and three vocabulary rounds, our Top Three Finalists were Nathan K., Aki S., and Matthew H., with our alternate being Ella A.. These students will move on to the District 64 Spelling Bee which will take place on Monday, January 28th at 4:00 in the Roosevelt School Auditorium. Thank you to all who participated and made this year's Spelling Bee a success.
