Wednesday, April 6th was our first Waste Free Wednesday. On this day and every Wednesday going forward, Field students are encouraged to bring a waste free lunch to school. This can be accomplished by packing lunches in reusable containers, using cloth napkins and bringing plastic forks. We have been celebrating students who do not have anything to recycle or throw away in their lunchbox. The students feel very proud when they are recognized for having a waste free lunch. All students can begin participating at any time, and they should not feel limited to Wednesdays!
