I am so excited to write to you for the first time as principal of Field School! Today is my first official day, and I look forward to working with the children, families and staff of Field for the 2015-2016 school year. At our beach day assembly in June, I told the students how much I looked forward to hearing about all the ways they have demonstrated Field CARES this summer. They will show Cooperation as they play with their siblings and friends. I hope they all Act safely when swimming, biking and playing with friends. They will show Respect and responsibility as they interact with you and prepare for school by reading and writing over the summer. They will show Empathy to others by thinking about how they might feel about a situation. They will practice Self-control when participating in camps or summer school. I look forward to seeing the children and you on August 18th!
