Students share what it means to be a 21st century learner

From 90-second stop motion films and Google map virtual tours of the U.S. to book trailers and physical education portfolios, more than 60 students from all schools demonstrated what it means to be a 21st century learner at District 64's second annual Student Learning Showcase -- District 64 Innovates! -- on Monday evening, May 22, 2017 at Emerson Middle School's lobby.

Families, local residents, and Board of Education members discovered how District 64's 1:1 learning initiative allows students to amplify their learning opportunities and practice skills that will help them be future ready learners and leaders confident in using the 4 C's of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
