Field Construction Update

Field Elementary School

Field Elementary School

With the recent addition of Full Day Kindergarten in District 64, additions and construction projects are being done at each elementary school in order to create the necessary space.

Starting on March 21 and going through March 25 you’ll see the first steps in this process at Field.  That week temporary fencing will be installed around much of the south and sides of the school.  This fencing will enclose the entire construction site as well as the temporary staging and roadways necessary for the contractor.  The entrance for the construction site will be on Elmore Street, just east of Cuttriss Street.

If you have any construction questions or would like to see the site plans and renderings, a Construction Open House with District 64 Administration will be held in the north gym at Field at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14.  This is not an opportunity to ask questions about curriculum, the program itself, or kindergarten logistics. This meeting is to only discuss the construction.
