Field Elementary School students got outside and got in their steps on Friday. The 2023 Field Walk-A-Thon was a great way to cap off the week.
Each grade tied their shoes extra tight and walked, jogged, and ran laps for 30 minutes. Pedometers were used to see which walkers stacked up the biggest numbers, and the top three individual and classroom winners will receive special prizes!
The Field PTO puts on the Walk-A-Thon, and it's always a favorite memory for the students. The school-wide fundraiser has raised more than $28,000! The money will go towards the PTO's initiative to install an all-new playground with equipment that fosters accessibility and inclusivity.
