School calendar for the 2024-2025 school year approved

The District 64 Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2024-2025 school year at its most recent meeting on December 21st, 2023.

Some of the highlights include:

First day of school for students (K-8): Wednesday, August 14th, 2024
First day of school for Pre-K students: Thursday, August 15th, 2024
Fall Break: Tuesday, November 26th through Friday, November 29th, 2024
- Monday, November 25th, is designated as a Parent-Teacher Conference Day - No Student Attendance
Winter Break: Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd 2025
Spring Break: Monday, March 24th through Friday, March 28th 2025
Last day of school: Friday, May 30th, 2025 (In the event Friday, May 30th is designated as records/planning day, Thursday, May 29th will be the last day of school for students)
