District 64 Parent University Kickoff: "Chromebook 101"

Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 invites parents and community members to the Monday, September 22 kick-off of its 2014-15 Parent University series: "Chromebook 101."

The program will focus on the District's 1:1 learning initiative and the Chromebook device.  Facilitated by a District 64 Instructional Technology Coach, the session will help parents and adults learn about the Chromebook and the Google apps environment.  It will help parents manage their student's device usage at home and offer ways to promote positive, productive digital citizenship.

The one-hour program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Roosevelt School (library), 1001 S. Fairview, Park Ridge. Read about Chromebook

Parents and community members also are invited to stay for the regular monthly Board of Education meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

More Parent University sessions will follow throughout the year!
