Superintendent's January-February newsletter showcases special/encore classes

Superintendent Laurie Heinz has released the January/February issue of her Parents = Partners Education Notes newsletter.

This month’s issue showcases our students as they enjoy learning in various settings outside of their classrooms in grades K-5 specials/grades 6-8 encore classes.

You’ll also learn about a recent Arctic Adventure made possible through our technology resources, and find an update on our community connections, ranging from support from our local Kiwanis for District 64 families in need to a $1,000 grant from local arts organizations that will bring professional musicians to play alongside our middle schoolers.

In addition, Dr. Heinz previews what our teachers will be doing on Institute Day this Friday and offers an introduction to our exciting Tuesday, March 8 Parent University guest speaker.
