Emerson artists win regional awards

Three Emerson Middle School students have received Scholastic Art Awards for their creations in competition within the Midwest region at-large.

The trio includes: Gold Key Award - Eva Nicholson, "Santorini" acrylic painting; Silver Key Award - Eden McKenna-Batemann, "Heart and Lungs" relief print; and Honorable Mention - Emily Divis, "Hands" black and white photograph.
